Who are Guadalupe County Master Gardeners?
They are people who love gardening and want to learn more about horticulture. Master Gardeners enjoy sharing their knowledge with others and promoting the love of gardening. What really sets Master Gardeners apart from other home gardeners is their special training in horticulture. In exchange for their training, persons who become Master Gardeners contribute time as volunteers, working through the Texas AgriLife Extension office to provide horticulture-related information to the community.
Each month (except for June & December), the Guadalupe County Office of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service located at 210 Live Oak, Seguin, Texas 78155 hosts at least two Master Gardener presentation events. We have monthly Lunch & Learn presentations on the second Wednesday of the month at Noon and we meet the third Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. where in addition to a presentation, we have our monthly business meeting – Both meetings include a guest speaker, are free, and are open to the public. Meeting program topic details are included on the Calendar of Events — check it out and join us!
