This month’s Lunch & Learn on July 10th is on Aquatic Entomology presented by Nathan Hermond, Extension Entomologist at Prairie View A&M University
Bring your favorite lunch and learn from one of Guadalupe County Master Gardeners’ favorite Entomologists at this free seminar and open to the Public.
Learn about Aquatic Entomology, the study of insects that live some portion of their life cycle in the water. These insects feed in the same ways as other insects, but some diving insects, such as predatory diving beetles, can hunt for food underwater where land-living insects cannot compete. Aquatic insects have key morphological adaptations to assist them in this habitat
