Christmas Tree Decorating & Placement Committee Meeting

Master Gardener Volunteers we need Y O U !

Our first meeting was on 10/25/2023.  We brainstormed several ideas, and several folks made and
contributed some really awesome ornaments and materials. As it turns out the Seguin Parks &
Recreation department changed their registration method this year and didn’t send out any notice;
so when we found out and went to register all the spots downtown on the plaza were already taken.
So we will NOT be doing a tree for the plaza, but we are still doing a tree.  We are number 5 on
the Parks waiting list in the event enough cancellations happen we still maybe can participate,
but it’s unlikely.  We already have all the materials, ornaments, etc.  Ernestine is bringing in
an artificial tree which will be what we decorate and place at some business in downtown Seguin.
The final destination of the tree has not been confirmed as yet, but we expect that have that
info by our next and final(?) meeting on 11/29/2023.

All are welcome, Come join us for some creative fun and good company. We hope to see you there!
