Date & Time: Workdays scheduled every Wednesday 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. excluding holidays & certain other occasions* Text us if you have questions or want to volunteer to help! Volunteers are always welcome. Want to come pick up or drop off some seeds but can’t make it during our normal hours, let us know and we can work something out.
Task: Volunteers needed to package seeds from bulk drop offs, and answer questions about all things horticulture related. We need seeds for our events! Just drop them by the Texas AgriLife A&M Extension Office, labeled with your name and the name (common name & Latin if you know it) and the year they were harvested. If there is a specific color, mention that too. No Mountain Laurel please. If the seed is rare or an heirloom, add that to the description. You can also find current info for the Seed Exchange on the GCMG homepage at this link (then scroll down) as well as on the event calendar. Our Seed Inventory is constantly changing, but an example of what we have on hand can be found here Please note inventory changes fairly often, but we try to keep the sheet updated as much as possible.
