The City of Seguin opens the registration process on September 8th this year to request a participation slot and they fill up quickly. Here is the current link for information and registration: https://www.seguintexas.gov/784/Holiday-Stroll-Parade
Date & Time: August (Registration Opens), but project is typically worked on in November – December
Task: Create a theme, make decorations, buy a live tree (6 foot is maximum height allowed), decorate and place the live tree downtown on the square in Seguin Central Park and remove it when event is over.
This event is a lot of fun and an easy way to get in those last minute volunteer hours you may need. We recommend about 5 or 6 volunteers (more are welcome!!).
There are a number of rules which are subject to change, so be sure to check the Seguin Parks & Recreation website starting in August (or as soon as possible) to get entered and the latest rules.
