When you log into VMS, the majority of users will see a screen similar to that below (see the picture below). Notice the yellow highlighted field on the right (yours will not be highlighted). That table will reflect not only your personal current Volunteer, CE hours, and Mileage at time of login for the current year, but also all prior years that you been involved with GCMG.

If you have admin privileges (or an elevated level of privilege), your screen will be somewhat different (see picture below) and see “Program Activity”, followed by “Links”, and finally “Your Progress”. You need to scroll down to the bottom (use the far right scroll bar) to see “Your Progress”.
So you saw your progress when you logged in, but then you made several entries into VMS and want to see your new “Progress” totals, simply refresh the webpage. You will see a popup like that below, click Resend and you will see the home page update with your new totals. PLEASE NOTE, if you have several tabs open in VMS such as Home, View Your Hours, Add Hours, Roster, etc. they will all go away after the refresh and only the VMS home page tab will remain so if you need to go back into any of those tabs you will need to open them again by selecting them off the main menu bar.
