Guest Speaker: Peter Hernandez, Advanced Master Gardener – Come join Peter for a very informative presentation on Vermicomposting. Vermicomposting is the process of using worms—typically red wigglers—to break down organic waste into nutrient-rich compost. The worms consume food scraps, paper, and other biodegradable materials, producing castings that enhance soil fertility. This method accelerates decomposition, reduces landfill waste, and creates an eco-friendly way to recycle kitchen leftovers. It’s a natural, efficient way to improve soil health while minimizing waste.
Adults Only. Registration Required.
