Join Advanced Master Gardener Peter Hernandez in this exciting and rewarding practice to transform food scraps and yard waste into a rich, dark, soil-like material. It enriches the soil, helps retain moisture, suppresses plant diseases, and reduces the need for chemical fertilizers. Plus, it’s a great way to reduce your carbon footprint! Step-by-step instructions on choosing the right composting method for your space, whether it’s a compost pile, bin, or tumbler.
