Guadalupe County Chapter Presents

“Remarkable Plants of Texas”

Tuesday June 10, 2014, 7:00 PM

Matt Turner, author of the wonderful book “Remarkable Plants of Texas,” will introduce some of Texas’ most amazing plants, their little-known histories, and their medicinal, cultural and culinary uses.

This book is far more than a simple field guide. Matt will bring a few books to sell and sign for us, or you can find the book at Amazon.com.

Meetings are open to the public. Visitors are welcome.

There is a plant/seed exchange and greeting at 6:30 PM followed by the program at 7:00 PM.

Directions to St John’s Lutheran Church: From FM 78 turn south on FM 465. The church is just past Marion Middle School on the right. From IH 10 go north on FM 465 toward Marion; the church is on the left. For more information or membership applications see our website at: http://www.npsot.org/wp/guadalupe
